Waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) includes a range of devices such as computers, fridges and small laboratory items. This type of waste contains a mixture of materials, some of which are hazardous and may cause major environmental and health problems if not disposed of correctly.
Removal Procedure
- Complete a WEEE form (some browsers prevent the WEEE form from being accessed. If you experience any problems accessing the form, please contact [email protected])
- Enter serial / asset numbers if possible. Examples are shown below.
- Send the completed WEEE form to [email protected].
- Take the electrical items to the general waste store and place on the wooden shelving unit.
- If you require help moving an electrical item, please contact [email protected] to arrange a collection.
